Phylactolaemata
Phylactolaemata (phylum Bryozoa, subphylum Ectoprocta) A class of nonmineralized, freshwater ectoprocts in which the lophophore is U-shaped. The mouth is covered by a lip. The class has a probable Upper Cretaceous representative, but otherwise is known only from the Holocene.
