Kansan
Kansan The second (0.48–0.23 Ma) of four glacial stages occurring in North America, during which isotope evidence suggests that the climate was less extreme than during the Nebraskan episode, although the Kansan glaciation extended further south. The Kansan is approximately equivalent to the Günz glacial of the Alps.
