drainage morphometry
drainage morphometry(morphometric analysis, Horton analysis) The calculation of a range of dimensionless drainage network relationships (see bifurcation ratio, for example), based on a system of stream ordering (i.e. the numerical ranking of channel segments within a channel network). It was proposed by R. E. Horton in 1945.
