Caesia (family Liliaceae) A genus of small plants that have strap-like leaves and clusters of white or pale mauve, 6-petalled flowers. They are Gondwanic in distribution (see GONDWANA), with 10 species in Australia, New Guinea, Madagascar, and S. Africa.
