Amblypoda (cohort Ferungulata, superorder Paenungulata) An order of large, archaic, and predominantly American ungulates comprising the four distinct suborders Pantodonta, Dinocerata, Xenungulata, and Pyrotheria. The name Amblypoda is sometimes used synonymously with Pantodonta.
