Aśubha
Aśubha (Skt., ‘not-beautiful’). The contemplation in Buddhism of disgusting objects, sometimes equated with reflection on the unpleasing features of the body, especially of corpses in different stages of decay. It is thus a dramatic instance of memento mori.
