Robstown, city (1990 pop. 12,849), Nueces co., S Tex.; inc. 1912. It is a railroad junction and a packing and shipping center for a blackland region that produces cotton, sorghum, and oil. There is oil refining and the manufacture of petrochemicals, metal products, and apparel.
