Nechako
Nechako (nĬchăk´ō), river, 287 mi (462 km) long, rising in Tetachuck and Ootsa lakes, central British Columbia, Canada, and flowing NE, then E to the Fraser River at Prince George. Kenney Dam (325 ft/99 m high; completed 1952) and Kemano Dam (320 ft/98 m high; completed 1954) are among the highest dams in Canada.
