Mürren
Mürren (mür´ən), village, Bern canton, S central Switzerland, in the Bernese Alps. It is a health and sports center with a splendid view of the Jungfrau and neighboring peaks. It is the highest village in Bern canton that has year-round residents (elevation 5,450 ft/1,661 m). Mürren is also noted for its annual international ballooning week.
