Kluane National Park
Kluane National Park (klōōān´), c.8,500 sq mi (22,000 sq km), SW Yukon, Canada, between Kluane Lake and the British Columbia and Alaska borders; est. 1972. Located in the St. Elias Mts., the park contains some of Canada's highest mountains (including Mt. Logan, the nation's highest peak) and one of the world's largest nonpolar systems of ice fields. There is a great variety of wildlife.
