Swedish heptathlete and track-and-field athlete. Born Feb 2, 1983, in Boras, Sweden.
Placed 1st in the heptathlon at World championships (2003); at World Indoor champion-ships, won a gold medal for pentathlon (2003); won a gold medal for heptathlon at Athens Olympics (2004); for heptathlon, ranked 1st overall in World Combined Events Challenge (2003); at Super Grand Prix, placed 1sat in long jump (2003, 2004). Named European Athlete Association Athlete of the Year (2003) and Swedish Sports Foundation Sportswoman of the Year.
