Goshogawara (gōshōgä´wärä), city (1990 pop. 47,976), Aomori prefecture, N Honshu, Japan. The city consists of two areas, one coastal and the other—the site of the city's downtown—inland on the Iwaki River; they are separated by part of the city of Nakadomari. It is an agricultural market and a communications center.
