Escobedo, Juan de
Juan de Escobedo (hwän dā āskōbā´ŧħō), d. 1578, Spanish politician, secretary to John of Austria in the Netherlands. He was murdered while on a mission in Madrid. Antonio Pérez was, perhaps unjustly, charged with the murder.
