Cojutepeque
Cojutepeque (kōhōōtāpā´kā), city (1993 pop. 32,523), capital of Cuscatlán dept., central El Salvador. It is north of a volcano of the same name and is on the Inter-American Highway. The city is a commercial and processing center for agricultural produce.
