SLANGUAGE A non-technical term for SLANG usage or a variety of language dominated by slang. In The Slanguage of Sex: A Dictionary of Modern Sexual Terms (1984), Brigid McConville and John Shearlaw define a slanguage as ‘an underground language’ of simile, metaphor, euphemism, and innuendo.
