Richards, Sir Viv
Richards, Sir Viv ( Isaac Vivian Alexander) (1952– ) West Indian cricketer, b. Antigua. Richards made his test debut in 1974, and was West Indies captain (1985–1991). He played county cricket in England for Somerset (1974–86) and Glamorgan (1990–93), and in Australia for Queensland (1976–77). Richards retired from test cricket in 1991. He scored 8540 runs in 121 test matches, including 24 centuries.
