Richards, Nansi (b Pen-y-bont-fawr, Montgomeryshire, 1888; d Pen-y-bont-fawr, 1979). Welsh harpist known as ‘The Harpist of Montgomery’. Frequently perf. at eisteddfodau. Created ‘Royal Harpist’ at investiture of Prince of Wales, 1911. Toured USA 1924. Annual schol. in her memory awarded to young Welsh harpist.
