Kubelík Name of two Czech musicians. Jan (1880–1940) was a violinist and composer, highly regarded for his technical mastery. Rafael (1914– ), his son, was an eminent conductor as well as a composer. He was musical director of the Metropolitan Opera Company in New York (1973–74).
