Description:

Independent Southern Baptist, comprehensive, coed. Awards associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees and post-master's certificates. Founded 1823. Setting: 290-acre small town campus with easy access to Memphis. Endowment: $24.3 million. Research spending 2003-04: $150,000. Educational spending 2003-04: $6094 per student. Total enrollment: 2,843. Faculty: 229 (147 full-time, 82 part-time). Collegiate Environment:
