In order to participate in Southern New Hampshire University's online courses, students must have a computer with Internet access. Courses with SNHU Online are not correspondence or CD-ROM–based. Instead, they are asynchronous, with no mandatory or set times that students are required to be online, and classes are self-paced—allowing students to complete their work at their own time and pace, within certain deadlines.
