State and locally supported, 2-year, coed. Part of Iowa Department of Education Division of Community Colleges. Awards diplomas, transfer associate, and terminal associate degrees. Founded 1968. Setting: 160-acre small town campus. Total enrollment: 2,045. Students come from 8 states and territories, 34% 25 or older, 3% live on campus. Core. Calendar: semesters. Entrance Requirements:

Open admission except for computer programming, nursing, electronics, medical assistant, medical laboratory technology, manufacturing technology, engineering design, occupational therapy assistant, physical therapy assistant programs.
