Patricia Smith Christensen Scholarships (Postdoctorate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To assist graduate nursing students who are pursuing nursing education in the area of maternal-child or pediatric nursing. Focus: Nursing. Qualif.: Applicants must be Canadian residents; Sigma Theta Tau International members; registered nurses with current licenses; and enrolled in a master's or doctoral program in nursing. Criteria: Applicants are evaluated based on academic achievement and financial need.

Funds Avail.: $1,000. To Apply: Applicants must submit a letter outlining the reasons for pursuing advanced nursing education in the area of maternal-child or pediatric nursing and providing details about their current program and future career plans; curriculum vitae; two letters of reference: one clinical and one academic; official transcripts. Deadline: March 1.
