Description:

Independent Roman Catholic, comprehensive, coed. Awards bachelor's and master's degrees. Founded 1846. Setting: 200-acre suburban campus with easy access to Pittsburgh. Endowment: $42.9 million. Application fee: $25. Comprehensive fee: $27,246 includes full-time tuition ($20,312), mandatory fees ($510), and college room and board ($6424). College room only: $3204. Collegiate Environment:

Community Environment:

Population 8,994. Located in the Laurel Highlands region of the Allegheny Mountains, Latrobe is 35 miles east of Pittsburgh. The area is accessible by air, railroad and major highways. There is a county airport adjacent to campus. The community has a public library, churches and a synagogue and multiple shopping malls.
