Description: Independent Episcopal, 4-year, coed. Awards bachelor's degrees. Founded 1888. Setting: 75-acre small town campus with easy access to Richmond. Total enrollment: 531. 408 applied, 88% were admitted. Students come from 12 states and territories, 0% Native American, 0% Hispanic, 97% black, 0% Asian American or Pacific Islander, 0% international, 1% 25 or older.
