Felicia De Bow Memorial Scholarships (All/Scholarship)

Purpose: To further interest in and study of arts. Focus: Fine arts. Qualif.: Applicants must be females of at least 21 years of age; must reside or work within the boundaries of High School District 230 or 218; must attend a regular meeting of the Palos Fine Arts Council to share their experiences from the use of the scholarship. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic performance and financial need.

Funds Avail.: $500. To Apply: Applicants must submit: a completed application form; release form; art materials in the form of CD, tape, slides, audio or manuscript; a 1,000 word essay including a brief self-history, goals, when and where the class or workshops will be held and reasons for interest in attending the class.

Palos Fine Arts Association Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To further interest in and study of arts. Focus: Fine Arts. Qualif.: Applicants must be junior or senior high school students residing within the boundaries of high school districts 230 or 218; must attend Stagg, Sandburg, Andrew, Shepard, Chicago Christian, Marist, McCauly, Sacred Heart or be home-schooled. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic performance and financial need.

To Apply: Applicants must submit: a completed application form; release form; art materials in the form of CD, tape, slides, audio or manuscript; a 1,000 word essay including a brief self-history, goals, when and where the class or workshops will be held and reasons for interest in attending the class.
