Adolescent Literacy Predoctoral Fellowships (Doctorate/Fellowship)

Purpose: To strengthen and stimulate the field of adolescent literacy. Focus: Adult Education. Qualif.: Applicants must be studying for a doctoral degree at a graduate school within the United States; must have demonstrated interest in, and acquired knowledge of, adolescent literacy; must have demonstrated knowledge of, and sensitivity to, the characteristics of the populations. Criteria: Applicants will be selected based on eligibility requirements.

Funds Avail.: $25,000. Number Awarded: 20. To Apply: Applicants must complete the application materials including two letters of recommendation. Deadline: December.

National Academy of Education Scholarships (Doctorate/Fellowship)

Purpose: To support early career scholars working in critical areas of education research. Focus: Education. Qualif.: Applicants must have received their PhD, EdD or equivalent research degree; should have a demonstrated record of research experience in education; non-US citizens are welcome to apply. Criteria: Applicant will be selected based on the past research record; career; trajectory and the quality of the project described in the application.

Funds Avail.: $55,000. Number Awarded: 20. To Apply: Applicants must submit complete application materials including application form; two letters of recommendation; project description; abstract of proposed research project; career history; curriculum vitae/resume and example of past research relevant to education.
