B&W Y-12 Scholarship Fund (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To benefit graduating high school seniors wishing to pursue careers in science, math or pre-engineering related fields. Focus: Science; math; Engineering. Qualif.: Applicants must be enrolled as full-time students at either Roane State Community College or Pellissippi State Technical College; must be U.S citizens; must have a minimum GPA of at least 3.0. Criteria: A selection committee will be pre-selected and approved by ETF's board of Directors. The committee's primary function shall be the one to select the scholarship recipient, not only by considering the applicants' qualifications under criteria established above but also in consideration of the following factors: Scholastic and academic achievements; general aptitude for advanced educational work and seriousness of purpose; Qualities of citizenship in school and in community such as volunteer work and employment history; Participation in extracurricular activities at school or in the community; Demonstrated financial need.

Ruby A. Brown Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To benefit health nurses seeking to continue their nursing education. Focus: Nursing. Qualif.: Applicant must be currently employed as a public health nurse. Applicant must be a resident in one of 15 counties (Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Claiborne, Cocke, Grainger, Hamblen, Jefferson, Loudon, Monroe, Morgan, Roane, Scott, Sevier or Union).

Criteria: Selection of recipient and alternate will be based upon current level of education, additional training being pursued, length of employment, current county of employment, financial need and GPA.

Gordon W. and Agnes P. Cobb Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To benefit graduates of high schools in Blount, Loudon, and Knox counties in Tennessee who wish to pursue or who are pursuing college education in a health care or medical-related field. Focus: Health Sciences. Qua-lif.: Applicants must show proof of maintaining full-time enrollment and a 3.0 or better academic standing in a health care or medical related curriculum each year through the submission of academic transcripts to the foundation at the end of each semester. Criteria: Selection will be based on the following criteria: Academic promise and achievement; enrolled in a health care or medical-related curriculum; desire to pursue advanced education in a health care or medical-related field; evidence of a strong work or volunteer history; must demonstrate financial need.

Steven L. Coffey Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To assist students who possess the potential for excellence but may require some additional support in achieving their educational goals. Focus: General Studies. Qualif.: Applicants must either be Anderson County residents and graduates of Anderson County High School, Clinton Senior High School or Oak Ridge High School. Criteria: Grants are awarded based on academic excellence; must have financial need; must also present an evidence of a 2.5 GPA or better; And the desire to pursue a post secondary education.

R.G Crossno Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To benefit graduating seniors of Anderson County High School who wish to pursue an advanced degree. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be enrolled as full-time students in an accredited public or private not-for-profit university or community college. Criteria: Selection of scholars will be based on applicants' demonstrated financial need, career motivation, academic promise and evidence of strong work experience.

Funds Avail.: $1,400. To Apply: Applicants must check the application process online as well as the required materials. Deadline: April 11.

Michael D. Curtin Renaissance Student Memorial Scholarships(Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To recognize and benefit students who demonstrate leadership or achievement in a balanced array of activities, including the arts, athletics, citizenship, community/religious service and academics. Focus: General Studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be enrolled as full time students in an accredited public or private not-for-profit university. Criteria: Selection of scholars will be selected by the scholarship committee consisting of five faculty members from Anderson County High School; they will review all applications, conduct interviews and make funding recommendations to East Tennessee Foundation Board of Directors.

Funds Avail.: Up to $1,000. To Apply: Applicants must check the application process online. Deadline: March 14.
