APSAIL's Ralph Silverman Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To further promote quality and high standards through education within the automotive aftermarket industry. Focus: Automotive technology. Qualif.: Applicants must be students who intend to pursue a career in the automotive aftermarket industry. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic performance and demonstrated interest in the automotive industry.

Funds Avail.: $500. Number Awarded: 6. To Apply: Applicants must submit a complete application form. Deadline: June 30.

AVI Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To develop quality technicians, managers, and shop owners. Focus: Automotive technology. Qualif.: Applicants must be 21 years of age; must have a minimum of two years work experience in the mechanical repair industry; must demonstrate an interest in self-improvement through education and training. If an applicant is not a business owner, he/she must be recommended by a business owner. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic performance and demonstrated interest in automotive industry.

Funds Avail.: $1,000. To Apply: Applicants must submit a complete application form. Deadline: August 17.

Tom Babcox Memorial Scholarships (All/Scholarship)

Purpose: To support continuing education tailored specifically for the business needs of the automotive service industry. Focus: Automotive technology. Qualif.: Applicants must work in mechanical repair industry; must demonstrate an interest in self-improvement through management education; must own or work for a business that as an ASA Collision division member in good standing. If an applicant is not a business owner, he/she must be recommended by a business owner. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic performance and demonstrated interest in automotive industry.

complete application form. Deadline: August 17.

Richard Cossette/Gale Memorial Scholarships (All/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide and promote practical business management service. Focus: Automotive technology. Qua-lif.: Applicants must work in the collision repair industry; must demonstrate an interest in self-improvement through management education; must own or work for a business that as an ASA Collision division member in good standing. If an applicant is not a business owner, he or she must be recommended by a business owner. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic performance and demonstrated interest in automotive industry.

Funds Avail.: $1,000. To Apply: Applicants must submit a complete application form.

Florida Automotive Industry Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide and promote practical business management service. Focus: Automotive technology. Qua-lif.: Applicants must be high school seniors, or high school graduates, or persons possessing a GED. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on the academic achievement, merit, and need.

Sloan Northwood Heavy-Duty Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide and promote practical business management service. Focus: Automotive technology. Qua-lif.: Applicants must be enrolled in the university's Automotive Aftermarket Management curriculum, Heavy Duty Management program or the Heavy Duty Vehicle Technology program; must be U.S. citizens and maintain a 2.5 cumulative grade point average. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need and demonstrated career interest.
