Accenture American Indian Scholarship Program (Graduate, Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to undergraduate and graduate American Indians in furthering their education. Focus: Technology; Engineering; Medicine; Law; Business. Qualif.: Applicants must be American Indians who are incoming freshmen with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or greater on a 4.0 scale at the end of the seventh semester of high school or graduates/professionals who have attained a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or greater on a 4.0 scale, as measured by undergraduate transcripts; must be enrolled members of a U.S. federally-recognized American Indian tribe or Alaska Native group; must be seeking a degree and career in fields of study including technology, engineering, medicine, law, and business. Criteria: Applicants are evaluated on the basis of demonstrated character; personal merit evident through leadership in school, civic and extracurricular activities, academic achievement and motivation to serve and succeed; and commitment to the American Indian Community, locally and/or nationally.

Funds Avail.: No specific amount. To Apply: Applicants must submit completed application form; copy of certificate of Indian Blood (CIB); unofficial undergraduate and/or graduate academic transcripts; biographical data and/or resume; essay describing their character, personal merit and commitment to community and heritage; two personal letters of recommendation (one must come from an education professional who is familiar with their academic work and the other one must come from an individual having knowledge of their leadership and community service activities); and financial aid award letter from the institution they will attend. Deadline: June 2.

AIGC Fellowship for Graduates (Graduate/Fellowship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to Native Americans and Alaska Native graduates or professional degree-seeking students in furthering their education. Focus:

General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be pursuing a post-baccalaureate graduate or professional degree as full-time students at an accredited institution in the U.S.; must be enrolled members of a federally-recognized American Indian or Alaska Native group, or provide documentation of descendency; must possess one-fourth federally-recognized Indian blood. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need.

Funds Avail.: $1,000 up to $5,000. To Apply: Applicants must submit all the required application information including the Tribal Eligibility Certificate and Financial Need Form.

BIE-Loan for Service for Graduates (Graduate/Loan)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to eligible American Indians and Alaska Natives seeking graduate and professional degrees. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be an enrolled member of a United States federally-recognized American Indian tribe or Alaska Native group, or possess one-fourth federally-recognized Indian blood; must have 3.0 grade point average; and must be pursuing a graduate or a professional degree as a full-time student at an accredited institution in the United States. Criteria: Applicants are evaluated based on financial need.

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to American Indian tribe or Alaska Native group in furthering their education. Focus: Banking; Gaming industry; Management; Accounting; Finance; Information science and technology; Human resource.s Qualif.: Applicants must be enrolled members of a United States federally-recognized American Indian tribe or Alaska Native group; pursuing a career and degree in fields relating to banking, resort management, gaming operations, management and administration, including accounting, finance, information technology, and human resources. Full-time graduate students at U.S. accredited colleges or universities with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on 4.0 scale at the time of application are eligible. Criteria: Applicants are evaluated based on financial need.
