Airports Council International-North America Scholarship (Graduate, Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide educational assistance for students at an accredited educational institution working towards a

degree and a career in airport management or airport administration. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be officially enrolled in an accredited college or university in either an undergraduate program focused on airport management and/or airport operations, or a graduate program focused on research on airport management or airport operations; must reside and attend school in the U.S. or Canada and must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 at the time of application. Criteria: Applicants are evaluated based on demonstrated academic excellence and leadership and economic need.

Funds Avail.: $2,500. Number Awarded: 3. To Apply: Applicants must submit scholarship application (Form 101-06); official school transcript; two recent letters of recommendation, with one from a former or current professor/instructor and the other letter from someone other than a professor/instructor that has knowledge of the student's leadership qualities; a 300-500 word personal statement along with the application, with an emphasis on the applicant's interest in airport management or airport operations; and a current resume (maximum of two pages).
