Description: District-supported, 2-year, coed. Awards certificates, diplomas, transfer associate, and terminal associate degrees. Founded 1967. Setting: 185-acre urban campus with easy access to Denver. Endowment: $71,813. Total enrollment: 5,098. Full-time: 2,252 students, 51% women, 49% men. Part-time: 2,846 students, 57% women, 43% men. Students come from 8 states and territories, 60% 25 or older. Retention: 45% of 2003 full-time freshmen returned. Core. Calendar: semesters. Academic remediation for entering students, ESL program, advanced placement, self-designed majors, freshman honors college, honors program, summer session for credit, part-time degree program, external degree program, adult/continuing education programs, co-op programs.
