Bautista, Francisco (1594–1679). Spanish Jesuit priest and architect. He was responsible for the Churches of San Salvador del Mundo and San Isidro el Real, Madrid (1626–51), based on the Church of Il Gesù in Rome, and precedents for many later churches in Spain and Latin America of the Gesù type.
