SCORM STANDARDS

The U.S. federal government has developed a set of standards known as SCORM, which stands for Sharable Courseware Object Reference Model. These standards have been designed to help build a platform for integrating learning technology into Department of Defense education programs. The SCORM standards, which help procurers evaluate curriculum and infrastructure compatibilities of various educational software programs, are gaining acceptance for evaluating Learning Management Systems (LMSs).
