correspondence analysis
correspondence analysis A method of multivariate analysis popular in France and developed by J. Benzecri. The purpose of the technique is to rearrange the rows and columns of a data matrix so that units and variables with similar properties appear together giving rectangular blocks of similar values. The results may also be displayed graphically.
