Sidelights

Janet R. Zohorsky told SATA: "From a young age, I was an avid reader. Nothing was better than a good book. It was only natural to study literature in college. I even went as far as learning Latin and Old English to better understand old texts without deferring to footnotes. My master's thesis on the female characters in the King Arthur story (Guinevere and Morgan Le Fay) was a true labor of love. I took three years to read every Arthurian story ever written. In 2003, my fascination with the knights' world came full circle with the publication of Medieval Knights and Warriors. I hope to create my own fictional knight tales in the future."
