tobramycin (toh-bră-my-sin) n. an aminoglycoside antibiotic used to treat septicaemia and lower respiratory, urinary, skin, abdominal, and central nervous system infections. It is administered by intravenous or intramuscular injection or by inhalation. Trade name: Tobri.
