Born 1919, in Eyrecourt, County Galway, Ireland; died February 5, 2002, in London, England. Education: Attended Chelsea School of Art, c. 1969, and University of Reading. Religion: Roman Catholic.

CAREER:

Teacher and civil rights activist. Roman Catholic nun of order of La Sainte Union, County Kildare, Ireland, c. 1937-85; laicized, 1985. Worked as headmistress of a girls' school in Athlone, Ireland.

MEMBER:

Northern Ireland Civil Rights Association (member of executive committee).

Pro Ecclesia et Ponficate from the Roman Catholic Pope, 2001.
