SIDELIGHTS:

Stella Bagwell told CA: "I began writing after health problems forced me to quit my job as a hairdresser. I had always been a big reader of romances and believed I could write them as well or better than what I was reading.

"Usually, places in the United States inspire me to write a particular story. More often than not, it will be some place I have visited in the past.

"I try to write five days a week from about eight in the morning to three-thirty in the afternoon. I write from an outline in my head. The power of love inspires me to write."
