Stoyanov, Pencho, Bulgarian composer; b. Sofia, Feb. 9, 1931. He studied composition with Vladigerov at the Bulgarian State Cons. in Sofia, graduating in 1954. He then took courses at the Moscow Cons. Returning to Bulgaria, he taught at the Cons. in Sofia. He pubi, theoretical texts, including Interaction between the Musical Forms (Sofia, 1975).
