Sangiovanni, Antonio

Sangiovanni, Antonio , celebrated Italian singing teacher; b. Bergamo, Sept. 14, 1831; d. Milan, Jan. 6, 1892. He studied at the Milan Cons. where, in 1854, he was appointed prof. of singing. Two generations of Italian and foreign singers were his pupils.
