Quintavalle, Antonio , Italian organist and composer; b. place and date unknown; d. c. 1724. After serving as chamber organist at the court in Mantua, he was maestro di cappella at Trent Cathedral from 1712. He wrote the operas L’oracolo in sogno (Mantua, June 6, 1699; in collaboration with A. Caldara and C. Pollarolo), II trionfo d’amore (Mantua, Dec. 19, 1703), Paride sull’Ida, ovvero Gli amori di Paride con Enone (Mantua, 1704), and Partenope (Trent, 1713). He also wrote several oratorios.
