Puyana, Rafael , Colombian harpsichordist; b. Bogota, Oct. 14, 1931. He studied piano at the New England Cons. of Music in Boston, and harpsichord with Wanda Landowska in N.Y.; also had general music training at the Hartt Coll. of Music in Hartford, Conn. He made a tour of Europe (1955); made his first appearances in N.Y. (1957) and London (1966); thereafter toured worldwide. His extensive repertory ranges from early music to contemporary scores.
