Passereau, Pierre, French composer who flourished in the first half of the 16th century. He was chapel singer to the Duke of Angoulême, and later of later Francis I. Twenty-three of his chansons were publ. in contemporary anthologies (1533–47). G. Dottin ed. his complete works (1967).
