Panzéra, Charles (b Hyères, 1896; d Paris, 1976). Swiss baritone. Opera début Opéra-Comique 1919 as Albert in Werther. Later was celebrated Pelléas. Noted recitalist and interpreter of Fr. song. Prof. of singing, Paris Cons., 1949. Also taught at Juilliard Sch. Author of L'Art de chanter (1945).
