Kraft, Nicolaus (b Eszterháza, 1778; d Cheb, Cz., 1853). Cz. cellist and composer, son and pupil of Anton Kraft. Member of Prince Joseph Lobkowitz's orch. from 1796 and of Schuppanzigh's str. qt. which gave f.ps. of several Beethoven qts. Wrote 4 vc. concs. and many salon pieces.
