Hupperts, Paul (Henri Franciscus Marie)
Hupperts, Paul (Henri Franciscus Marie), Dutch conductor; b. Gulpen, Jan. 1, 1919. He studied music in Utrecht; then appeared as a guest conductor in the Netherlands. In 1947 he was appointed conductor of the Limburg Orch. From 1949 to 1977 he was chief conductor of the Utrecht Sym. Orch. In his programs, he often included works by modern Dutch composers.
