Davidson, Lyle
Davidson, Lyle , American composer; b. Randolph, Vt., Feb. 25, 1938. He studied at the Univ. of Vt. (1956–58), the New England Cons, of Music in Boston (B.M., 1962; M.M., 1964), Brandeis Univ., and Boston Univ. He was active in avant-garde circles, composing pieces for the theater, dance, and films. His output utilized various contemporary techniques, including the use of electronics.
