Cecchino, Tomaso
Cecchino, Tomaso, Italian composer; b. Verona, c. 1580; d. Hvar, Aug. 31, 1644. After serving as temporary maestro di cappella at Split Cathedral (1603–07; 1613–14), he was maestro di cappella at Hvar Cathedral from 1614 until his death. Many of his sacred and secular vocal pieces were esteemed and were widely disseminated during his lifetime.
