Burganger, Judith, American pianist and teacher; b. Buffalo, March 17, 1939. She was educated at the Stuttgart Staatliche Hochschule für Musik (diploma, 1961; M.M., 1965). After winning first prize in the Munich Competition, she appeared as a soloist with several major U.S. orchs., gave recitals, and played in chamber music concerts. She also was active as a teacher.
