Beck, Thomas Ludvigsen

Beck, Thomas Ludvigsen, Norwegian organist, choral conductor, teacher, and composer; b. Horten, Dec. 5, 1899; d. Oslo, Sept. 9, 1963. He studied piano, organ, and composition at the Oslo Cons. and theory in Leipzig. From 1930 he was active as an organist, choral conductor, and teacher in Oslo. He composed several orch. pieces, many cantatas, choruses, songs, and film music.
